October Favourites

This is a late October Favourites but, better late than never! The pictures aren't the best quality in this post, I haven't got used to the Autumn/Winter weather yet. I need to take my pictures earlier in the day so the lighting is better, so sorry!

Morphe 350 Eyeshadow Palette
Everyone knows about this palette. It is amazing, it really is worth the hype! You can create so many different looks with this palette. The quality of the eyeshadows is incredible considering it only retails for $22.99. I have been loving using the more warm toned shades this month, mainly the right side of the palette. I have been loving really warm browns in my crease as my transition shade and using a more burgundy red to deepen the outer corner. This has been my go-to look this month with MAC's Tan pigment on my eyelid.

MAC Nordstrom eyeshadow palette
I have been loving using MAC eyeshadows for the past few months. They are highly pigmented and easy to use. They are extremely blendable and buttery. Some of my favourite shades to use have been Vapour, All That Glitters, Wedge, Amber Lights, Beauty Marked and Carbon. If you haven't tried MAC eyeshadows before I would highly recommend buying one of the pre-made palettes. They are really worth the money and if you were to buy all the eyeshadows individually it would cost a lot more. In the UK you can buy the Warm or Cool palette. I have the Warm palette and I love that one as well!

Ardell Demi Wispies
Demi Wispies are my favourite false eyelashes. They are so easy to use, the lash band is really thin so they appear more natural as well. I use these eyelashes every day and they are really easy to clean and re-use a lot of times. I always re-use my eyelashes as I like to get my moneys worth out of them. I don't want to pay £5/£6 for a pair of eyelashes if I'm only going to wear them once, especially when I wear them almost every day. They are so pretty on the eyes and go with any look, I highly recommend them.

Mary-Lou Manizer - theBalm
This highlighter is incredible. It's the perfect gold champagne colour. It hasn't got too much gold in it which makes it perfect for me. I have been using this non stop since early July. It does give an obvious highlighted look, it's not subtle. But, I LOVE highlighters so that is what I want from a highlighter. It can be used as an eyeshadow as well so it is a multi-use product. It seems as if it would be similar to Stila's Kitten eyeshadow, which is very popular.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
If you keep up with the online beauty community this will be no surprise to you. This stuff is amazing. I featured this in a recent haul from when I was in London, ever since then it has become my favourite powder. To begin with, it makes your face feel so soft and smooth when it is on. I love using this all over my face to set my foundation. I also love to use it to bake my face - this means I pack on the powder to cut my contour, this makes the contour appear a lot stronger and creates more definition to your face. I also love packing this on under my eyes so they are more highlighted. For under my eyes, I will either use this powder or the banana shade in the Anastasia Contour Kit.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
This has been my favourite drugstore foundation for around 4 years now. I have gone through so many bottles of it. I range between shade 51 and 52 depending on the time of year. At the moment I am between shades, I use 2 pumps of 51 and 1 of 52. I'd say it gives a medium coverage but you can build it up to a full coverage as well. It also smells great too, which is always a bonus. It lasts quite a while too and is only £9.99 from Boots or Superdrug.

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade  - Blonde
I wasn't sure on this product at first, I thought I wouldn't like it as I don't like spending too much time on my eyebrows and I prefer them more natural. But, this has completely changed my mind on this type of product. I thought it would be really hard to work with but it's really quick and easy, all I do is use a small angled brush with a small amount of product. I carve out the shape of my eyebrows first and then fill them in with the product too. The best thing about this product is that you don't necessarily need to set it afterwards, occasionally I do but when I'm in a rush it definitely doesn't need it. The colour match is also really nice. As I have a lot of blonde in my hair it can be very difficult finding the right colour when it comes to brow products. My Anastasia Brow Wiz colour is Taupe for reference, but I prefer the Blonde shade for Dipbrow.

MAC Lipstick - Whirl
I love this shade so much. I have been wearing it so much the past month with Morning Coffee Pro Longwear lip liner. It's the perfect browny nude, I have wanted to try more brown shades and this has made it easier to get into the comfort zone of trying different shades. It's very different to other 'nude' shades that I have been loving such as MAC's Velvet Teddy and Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Dusty Rose.

Tangle Teezer
This is the only type of brush that will go through my hair when it has knots in it! No other brush compares to how good this is, I have a lot of hair so this is perfect.

Nanshy Buffed Base Brush
I have recently switched from the Real Techniques expert face brush to this brush from Nanshy. I use this for foundation. I much prefer this to the Real Techniques one, they are similar but this is larger so it covers more surface area at once which I prefer. It feels so soft on the face and blends out foundation perfectly. I have tried other Nanshy brushes as well and I have been loving them! They are an amazing company, let me know if you would like a review on Nanshy Brushes.

Morphe Brushes - E8
Morphe Brushes is such an amazing company. This brush is so soft and great quality, the Elite collection is so nice, I definitely want to purchase more of the brushes from this line. I use this brush for setting my under eyes or for highlight. It is great for both!

Morphe Brushes - M441
Sorry for the dirty brushes but I do use them every day! I love the Sigma E40 brush for blending colour into the crease of my eye but recently I have been using this for the same thing. It is great to use for my transition shade, which I always apply to my eye first (after primer of course). It is smaller and a bit more dense - this packs the colour onto the lid a little more than the E40 does and it is more precise.
